Capillary network maintenance frequency is not fixed, due to the use of the scene, water quality, system operating conditions and other factors produce differences, the following from the daily inspection, regular maintenance, seasonal maintenance of three aspects of the general frequency and basis:

Daily Inspection
Frequency: It is recommended to carry out simple inspections every day and more detailed inspections once a week.
Basis and content
Daily inspection: daily inspection is mainly to observe the appearance of the system with or without obvious abnormalities, such as walls, ceilings and other capillary network laying area whether there is water seepage, bulging, deformation and so on. This is similar to the daily inspection of water pipes at home for signs of leakage, which can detect some obvious hidden faults in time.

Weekly inspection: In addition to checking the appearance of the weekly detailed inspection, it is also necessary to check the system operating parameters, such as water temperature, water pressure and so on. Use professional temperature and pressure measuring instruments to record relevant data and compare with the normal range. For example, in summer cooling water supply temperature is usually around 16 - 18 ℃, the return water temperature will be slightly higher; winter heating water supply temperature is usually around 30 - 35 ℃, the return water temperature is slightly lower; the system working pressure is usually maintained at 0.2 - 0.4 MPa. If the data deviates from the normal range, it may mean that the system has a fault, and need to be further troubleshooting.


Regular Maintenance
Filter cleaning
Frequency: generally cleaned once every 3 - 6 months.

Basis: The main role of the filter is to filter impurities in the water to prevent them from entering the capillary network causing blockage. In areas with poor water quality, the impurity content in the water is high, and the filter is easy to be clogged, and the cleaning cycle should be appropriately shortened; in areas with good water quality, the cleaning cycle can be appropriately extended. For example, in some industrial pollution is more serious in the region, the water may contain more particles and suspended solids, the filter may need to be cleaned every 3 months; and in some mountainous areas with better water quality, every 6 months cleaning may be enough.


System flushing
Frequency: It is recommended to carry out a full flushing once a year.

Rationale: Even with a filter installed, there may still be some gradual accumulation of tiny impurities, dirt and biofilm in the system. These impurities will affect the heat exchange efficiency of the system and increase energy consumption. A comprehensive flushing once a year can effectively remove the impurities in the pipeline and ensure the normal operation of the system. Just as the engine of a car needs regular maintenance to clean carbon deposits, the capillary network system also needs regular flushing to keep it in good working condition.


Water quality testing and treatment
Frequency: water quality testing every six months, according to the test results to determine the frequency of treatment.

Basis: Water quality has a great impact on the operation of the capillary network system. If the hardness of water is too high, it is easy to scale in the pipeline, affecting the speed of water flow and heat exchange efficiency; if the microbial content in the water exceeds the standard, it may lead to biofilm growth in the pipeline and block the pipeline. Testing the water quality once every six months can keep you informed of the water quality condition. If the water quality does not meet the requirements, such as high hardness or excessive microbial content, it is necessary to take appropriate treatment measures, such as installing a water softener for softening treatment or adding the appropriate amount of biocides for sterilization, the frequency of treatment according to the water quality changes.


Seasonal maintenance
Maintenance before use in summer
Frequency: before the first use of refrigeration function in summer.

Basis: After a period of time out of use, the system may have some problems, such as there may be air in the pipeline, the electrical system may be faulty. Before using the system in summer, carry out a comprehensive inspection and debugging, including checking whether the electrical system is normal, whether the operating parameters of the refrigeration equipment meet the requirements, whether the pipeline connection is firm, etc. At the same time, debugging the system, adjusting the water supply temperature and flow rate, to ensure that the system can operate normally and achieve the cooling effect required by the design. This is similar to cleaning and checking the air conditioner before using it in summer to ensure its cooling effect.


Maintenance before use in winter
Frequency: Before using the heating function for the first time in winter.
Rationale: Winter temperatures are low and there is a risk of the system freezing and cracking. Before using the system in winter, you need to check whether the anti-freezing measures of the system are in place, such as whether the pipe insulation is intact, broken or peeled off. If the insulation is damaged, it should be repaired in a timely manner to prevent the water inside the pipes from freezing at low temperatures, leading to pipe rupture. At the same time, inspect and maintain the heating equipment, including cleaning the heat exchanger, checking the heating elements, and replacing the lubricating oil, to ensure that the heating equipment can operate normally and provide sufficient heat.
